Puma presents Metaverse Experience at NY Fashion Week


Puma, one of the top sports brands in the United States, has launched Black Station, a 3D space playground. This is in an effort to create a unique web3 space that will enable the NFT community to enjoy the brand.

The new limited edition Puma refundable sneaker was unveiled during New York Fashion Week as part of the Futrograde show. The show experience, which is widely distributed online, allows Puma customers to enter a hyper-realistic digital lobby space. It has three separate portals showing the Nitro NF RNO and Nitro Fastroid sneakers linked to PUMA’s latest NFT Nitro pass card.

A verified account from Puma highlighted the experience on Twitter: “Our 3D space playground. A unique Web3 space that allows our NFT community and all PUMA followers to experience the brand like never before.”

The brand’s popular sneakers such as the Nitro NFRNO and the Nitro Fastroid sneaker will tie into PUMA’s latest NFT Nitropass mint and will be available for purchase by PUMA customers. PUMA Black Station is imagined as an immersive and interactive place to experience the future of the brand. Like a blank and ever-evolving 3D canvas, Puma’s metaverse experience has become a dynamic destination to visit. It connects consumers to various web3 activations that are featured over the next year and beyond at fashion week.

Adam Petrick, PUMA’s Chief Brand Officer, said they have been driving product design and a digital perspective and saw it fit to launch Black Station for their customers’ digital exploration.
“Twenty years ago, Black Station was PUMA’s home for our most innovative fashion designs,” said Petrick.

PUMA joins other fashion brands

Puma joins Prada and American Eagle and Tommy Hilfiger as the latest brands in the fashion retail industry to incorporate metaverse and similar technologies for their brand-loving customers. The Black Station Fashion Week Experience promotes digital experiences and physical brands through NFT, a venture that engages customers and enriches their technological knowledge at the high-end fashion show.
