Lubbock, Texas – Texas Tech will bring back the Raider Walk before every home game at Jones AT&T Stadium this season as the football program embarks on an improved path under its new head coach. Joey McGuire.

Fans can greet the Red Raiders as Texas Tech drops off the team buses south of the Sports Performance Center and heads to the home tunnel on the north side of Champions Avenue.

The Goin’ Band from Raiderland and the Texas Tech Spirit Team will be on hand to enjoy the Red Raiders’ pregame events each week. Fans will be asked to line the streets before the team arrives and then enjoy other entertainment such as Raider Alley, presented by Bud Light, located in Engineering Key, not far from where the Red Raiders land.

Texas Tech will announce the exact time to expect the Red Raiders each week through its social media channels. Opening times are announced in a 10-day or six-day window before each game, depending on the Big 12’s television deal with partners FOX and ESPN.

Texas Tech opens the 2022 season Sept. 3 against Murray State, with the Red Raiders scheduled to arrive at Jones AT&T Stadium at 4:45 p.m. Tickets are available for the 7 pm start by calling 806-742-TECH or visiting www.TexasTech.com.
