Filco Supermarkets teams up with Henderson Technology to deploy the EDGEPoS platform

Nine Philco Supermarkets branded stores in the UK have installed new EDGEPoS systems in partnership with Henderson Technology.

This involved installing the EDGEPoS platform at each of Philco’s stores and the EDGEPoS headquarters at Llantwjit Major to fully manage the nine stores from one central location.

The 36-lane project, including the headquarters and central warehouse, took seven weeks to complete between October and November.

That was the year of retail technology. 2022 was good for AiFi, Jisp and RELEX Solutions.

Convenience retailer Co-op boosts fast food delivery with Just Eat tie-up

Just Eat has teamed up with the Co-op to launch an on-demand online delivery partnership across the UK.

The service is expected to roll out to 50 stores early next year and reach more than 1,000 co-op stores by spring 2023.

In conjunction, consumers can order items via the Just Eat app and website for delivery from the retailer in less than 30 minutes.
