LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – People around the world can pre-order tickets for next year’s Formula 1 Grand Prix of Las Vegas. Meanwhile, charity leaders and event workers are just some of the Southern Nevadans cashing in on big checks from this big event.
“This is powerful for all of us,” said Brooke Neubauer, founder of the Just One Project.
When registering for pre-registration, F1 fans are asked to donate $7.77 to the Las Vegas Grand Prix Foundation, which says, “These donations will be deployed on projects that improve the lives of Southern Nevada residents, providing one million free meals to the area.” Las Vegas community.
Neubauer’s charity is just one of his charities.
“They’ve been on a listening tour and they’ve chosen the Justice One project as a charity to support this year, and we’re very grateful,” Neubauer said.
She said the impact of these donations will be felt by those in need.

Three Square is getting a portion of your donation from this F1 pre-registration event.
“We’re very excited about how this will benefit Three Square,” said Kate Hibbard Gaines, Three Square’s director of development. “One in four children goes to a food insecure family. So every donation that goes to the foundation, then goes out to Three Square or one of our partners, then it has a much bigger impact.
But nonprofits aren’t the only ones aiming to rev up their engines and rake in the dough. The event weekend is expected to generate $1 billion in indirect economic impact.
Local stage hands and event workers will be given many job opportunities to choose from from this event.
“It’s going to be a lot of work for everybody to do,” said Phil Jens, president, IATSE 720, Las Vegas Stagehands Union.
He said they will be called upon to do the race: “I think there could be video walls all over the track.” There will be distribution points, levels. Most of our people are regular jobs. “
But he also said that the parties around the event will be called to work.
“We also get a lot of business from that because all these sponsors are here in town and all the hotels are throwing parties for their sponsors and contributors,” Jenness said.
