Springfield fashion designer Justin Haynes announces collaboration with Hennessy Cognac ahead of New York Fashion Week show.

Weeks ahead of his sixth appearance at the pinnacle of fashion, New York Fashion Week (NYFW), Justin Haynes, the Springfield-based fashion designer and creative mind behind fashion label JUS10H, announced that the latest collection of his brand will be a collaboration with Hennessy cognac.

Haynes said his newest collection, “Classic,” will debut Sept. 13 during his brand’s New York Fashion Week show in New York City’s Financial District.

“I’m going to showcase the ‘classic side’ of Hennessy,” Haynes said.

Hennessy cognac has changed a lot in shapes, sizes and flavors since its inception in 1765. The Springfield designer plans to pay homage to the roots of French cognac, with a collection based on Hennessy’s classic bold amber color— t.

Haynes said the “Classic” will feature textiles and fabrics that mix in cognac with JUS10H’s iconic denim and gray tones.

JUS10H models will showcase garments from the “Classic” collection, sponsored by Hennessy Cognac, during the Emerge! Fashion Runway Show at New York Fashion Week.

“I think I’ve done a good job representing the city well,” said Justin Haynes, who hopes his brand will inspire other designers in Springfield and the western Massachusetts area. “I look forward to more collections, I make sure everything I do is perfect out of respect for my city.”

With no credentials or publicity in the fashion industry, the Springfield native debuted his inaugural clothing line at Enfield Square Mall in 2009.

Thirteen years later, Haynes’ clothing line, JUS10H, has been featured at fashion weeks in Paris, Los Angeles, New York and Miami. His work has earned him a slew of fashion and lifestyle awards, and his clothes have even been featured in a CoverGirl ad in Times Square.

Haynes also appeared on Nick Cannon’s self-titled show in February and fitted a custom-made JUS10H suit for the celebrity.

Garments from Haynes’ “Classic” collection will be available for purchase on the JUS10H website at a later date.
