The Lady Raiders announced a non-conference slate

Lubbock, Texas – Head coach Christa Gerlich And the Texas Tech Lady Raiders completed the program’s 2022-23 non-conference schedule Monday.

The Lady Raiders open the 2022-23 season with an exhibition against D-II foe Midwest State (Nov. 1) at United Supermarkets Arena, before the home opener Nov. 7 (Texas A&M in Corpus Christi).

Following the home opener against the Isles, the Lady Raiders turn their attention to the Preseason WNIT Tournament, beginning Nov. 15 against 2022 NCAA Tournament participant Jackson State.

Also in the 2022 NCAA Tournament, Colorado heads to United Supermarkets Arena for the second game of the tournament on Nov. 16, before the third and final game of the preseason WNIT on Nov. 20 in Louisiana.

Thanksgiving week brings the Lady Raiders to Las Vegas, as Tech competes in the Las Vegas Invitational hosted by the spectacular Mirage Hotel.

The weekend begins the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 25) at 1 p.m. (CT)/11 a.m. (PT) against 2022 postseason WNIT semifinalist Middle Tennessee and closes with a 10 a.m. (CT) matchup against NCAA tournament participant Mercer. /8 pm (PT) Saturday, November 26.

Tech will be busy in December, when the first of seven home games begins, when Alabama State comes to town on Dec. 1. Enemy Incarnate Word at State on December 4th before the annual School Day matchup against Sam Houston at State on December 6th.

After taking finals week off, the Lady Raiders will play at Oral Roberts on Dec. 14 and the McNeese State Cowgirls on Dec. 19. UC Riverside travels to Lubbock on Dec. 22 before the conference finals against Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 27.
