Charlottesville, Va. (WVIR) – Throne Labs says it’s trying to solve the public porta-potty problems many have experienced.
Throne Labs’ portable public restrooms aim to give you an experience similar to a hotel lobby bathroom. This includes a leaking pool toilet, flushing water, lighting and heating and air conditioning.
The company wants to put accountability on a user-by-user basis: “By attaching a single identity to each entrance, people who use the bathroom continuously can be flagged and warned, or removed from the network and unable to use the thrones.” Throne Labs CEO Wilson Fletcher said. “It also allows us to use positive communication and we are grateful to those who continue to take advantage of our convenience.”
The company started in the DC metropolitan area, but hopes to expand to Charlottesville.
