Vanish Barbie Fashion – Inside the hot pink fashion trend against reality

WThe storied fashion house, Valentino, presented its Fall/Winter 2022 PP collection at Paris Fashion Week, it made a splash, and writers and fashion lovers alike were simply rosy. You see, the runway at Le Carreau du Temple in Le Marais was painted pink for Valentino’s ready-to-wear show. Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli pared down the palette to a single – shockingly – hot pink shade.

Valentino promoted his all-pink collection as “a liberation from the need for realism.” If there was ever a time in history that society needed that kind of escape, that time is now. Hitting the pause button on reality and rushing headlong into fantasy is fully embraced.

Ready-to-walk models at the Valentino PP Collection show embraced pink fashion.

If you’ve noticed a few more head-to-toe fuchsia pink ensembles coming off the runway and into the real world, you’re not imagining things. Barbie Girl fashion seems to be having a real moment.
