CNN is facing such a backlash after Democrats suffered massive online backlash after statements made by hosts Brianna Keillor and Jeff Zeleny. Apparently, the CNN hosts weren’t too happy about the commander in chief using the Navy to back him up during the speech. According to Keillor, the entire operation is against White House traditions, as the military is supposed to be apolitical. What caught the attention of critics was the backdrop of two uniformed marines. According to Keillor, this contradicts the rule that the military should remain in a political position. Keillor’s comments drew a backlash from Democrats, who called out the host for the seemingly botched statement, which they say is an indication of the puppet strings behind it. Soon, Twitter was abuzz with “Boycott CNN.” Some have gone so far as to say that Brianna Keillor “sold her soul.” The comments have sparked speculation that CNN is anti-Biden and supports fascism.
