With the advent of blockchain and all of its decentralization, Metaverse technology has become a very interesting introduction that allows users to trade crypto and NFTs. XR Central (XRC), an interactive technology studio focused on solving real business problems with Metaverse technology, which includes Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Voice and Gamification through their in-house MetaQube, a one-stop solution. A supplier for all different needs.

MetaQube will be an Indian rival to industry giants like Decentraland and SandBox.

“MetaQube will be India’s rival to industry giants like Decentraland and SandBox, and we are working on exciting features to bring it to life and make it a part of our users’ daily lives,” he said.

What do they do?

MetaQube comes with a well-defined collaboration suite, highly realistic simulation engine, 3D worlds, immersive interactions, gamification and social engagements.

“Users can choose basic templates that they can further customize using our library of 3D objects,” Agarwal says.

All experiences built on MetaQube are accessible on all devices and run on 4G bandwidth. As opposed to no code, MetaQube has a low code side for the online community to extend their experience as much as they want.

All XR resources are available through a web-based interface without requiring a VR headset or app. The platform has solved the problem of device compatibility. The services they offer include businesses and MaaS.

Origin and inspiration.

XR Central was founded by Agarwal and Shri Mishra. The organization’s vision is to democratize the way XR technology is used to solve real-world problems.

It all started in 2014 when the co-founders were working in the gaming industry with their brand Gaming Central, an Indian gaming community with nearly 11 million followers.

We realized that most of our work would eventually take place in a gamified, immersive environment called the metaverse. With this in mind, we have developed MetaQube, a product that makes it easier than ever for ordinary people as well as enterprise users and gamers to create their own Metaverse.

“We wanted to go a little further in game development, and in 2015, we started developing a few 3D-based games which we ported to XR. We started creating enterprise-level solutions using XR technology and conceptualized our MetaQueen in December 2020,” recalls Agarwal.

“We recognize that most of our work will eventually take place in a gamified and immersive environment called the Metaverse. With that in mind, we’ve designed MetaCube to make it easier than ever for ordinary people as well as enterprise users and gamers to create their own Metaverse.”

Development history

XR Central was the partner for Taiwanese PC giant GIGABYTE and IPL team Lucknow Supergiant Metaverse. It is also the benchmarking partner for India’s largest and most prestigious art fair, India Art Fair, which is being held this year.

We work with top IT, aviation and events companies in India. For example, our GIGABYTE and LSG experiences attracted more than 20,000 visitors, of which 25% were from outside India,” Agarwal proudly said.

We have very few competitors in India, and our biggest competitors are international brands like Decentraland and SandBox. Decentraland and SandBox are great, but they don’t understand the Indian and Asian ecosystems like we do and lack the cultural and organizational knowledge necessary to thrive in these environments.

The group considers itself a unique service in the still-expanding world of the Metaverse.

“We have very few competitors in India, and our biggest competitors are international brands like Decentraland and SandBox. Decentraland and SandBox are great, but they don’t understand the Indian and Asian ecosystem like we do and don’t have the cultural and organizational expertise to grow in these areas.” Our environment is more concrete and detailed than theirs,” he added.

Future plans

In the future, XR Central not only wants to expand into different industries, but also to expand internationally.

“We are currently introducing the Collaborative Enterprise Metaverse (including experience centres), the arts and culture sector and the edtech sector, and beyond that we want to develop solutions to meet the needs of a very diverse set of industries,” explains Agarwal.
