Ten years ago, actress Alia Bhatt made her Bollywood debut alongside Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in Karan Johar’s coming of age drama ‘Student Of The Year’ and in this last one decade, she has grown a lot as a filmstar as well as an artist. Alia has delivered more critical and commercial hits than her ‘SOTY’ co-stars and other contemporary actresses and her recent outings like ‘Gangubai Kathiavadi’ and ‘Darlings’ show how much she has grown.
To mark her 10 year journey in Bollywood, Alia shared a picture of herself on Instagram, expressed gratitude towards her fans and promised to get better and work harder.
She wrote, “10 years today and I am so so grateful .. EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! I promise to be better – dream deeper – work harder !!!!! Thank you for the magic. Love love and only love.” Alia’s mother Soni Razdan commented, “Congratulations darling and wish you many more such active happy productive years ahead.” Actor Ranveer Singh, who starred alongside Alia in ‘Gully Boy’ wrote, “Lucky to have been a small part of this journey with you. More love, more life, more blessings.”
