Announcing TechCrunch Live’s exclusive Minneapolis event agenda! – TechCrunch


Minneapolis is quickly solidifying itself as the Midwest’s most important startup ecosystem. TechCrunch Live is excited to host a special (virtual) event in the Twin Cities. Next week, on Wednesday, September 7th, our staff is ready to interview some of the best startups and investors and talk about the latest funding, best practices and strategies in the area. As with every TechCrunch Live event, this one is free to attend and attend.

To help highlight what the city has to offer, we’re enlisting the help of local startups. As with past City Spotlights, this one brings local Minneapolis startups to V.C. The winner will be fast-tracked to the Startup Battlefield 200, which includes a free exhibit space at TechCrunch Disrupt 2022. Applications are closed, but everyone can register for the event here.

Headquartered in the greater Minneapolis, Minnesota area, the startup is quickly becoming a bright star in the area’s exploding startup ecosystem. It’s the kind of startup that’s attracting the attention of local investors, but also outsiders, including Anna Mason, managing partner at Revolution Rise of the Rest Fund.
1:30 PM CT: Who’s Writing the Checks in MSP with Mary Grove (Bread & Butter Fund) and Justin Kaufenberg (Rally Ventures)
On growth opportunities in Minnesota from a VC fund perspective – what’s needed in the market, what exactly are they helping, where are startups looking for funding.
2:00 pm CT: Building a FinTech Company with Atif Siddiqui (Branch) and Ryan Broshar (Mastic Ventures)
Minneapolis is home to a growing number of fintech companies, and Branch is one of the best. along with its CEO and founder Atif Siddiqui and one of the company’s early investors, Ryan Broshar, managing director and partner at Matstick Ventures.
