DSOL’s 2022 fashion notes are becoming accessories with Lele Sadoughi as designer winner


With fall fast approaching, the favorite topic of the season is on many people’s minds. It starts with “f”. No, it’s not football. It’s fashion. The latest fashion event to check out in detail is the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s 2022 Fashion Notes.

President of DSOL Cynthia Baird and Co-Chairs of Fashion Notes Sharon Lee Clark AND Kira Nasrat have just revealed that this year’s Designer Award winner will be an accessory designer Lele Sadoughiwho has worked with Rebecca Taylor, Ippolita, Banana Republic, Anthropologie and Neiman Marcus.

In addition to launching the J. Crew jewelry collection in 2006, she “held the role of Jewelry Design Director at Tory Burch before launching her own brand in 2012 with clients including Kate Middleton, Lady Gaga, Nicole Kidman, Mindy Kaling, Jennifer Lopez AND Naomi Campbell. Lele’s talents have ranged from “designing the ultimate in costume jewelry, collectible bands, jeweled sunglasses, specialty bags and more.”

In addition to the award presentation, a sit-down luncheon and live auction at the Fairmont Dallas on Thursday, October 13 will feature St. Louis models on the runway. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra Family.

And speaking of DSOL ex-employees, deb graduate/past Speaker of Parliament/jewellery designer Fallon Bock and Bachendorf’s are donating a piece of jewelry for the live auction.

Table sponsorships range from $3,000 to $15,000, with individual tickets going for $300 to $500 if available. Funds raised through the event will “support the Growth and Education Programs it provides to children and adults throughout Dallas and the surrounding area.”
