‘Google to Bring Latest Tech to Improve State IT Ecosystem’ | Kochi news


Kochi: Google has said it is committed to bringing new technologies to improve the IT ecosystem in Kerala. Satyendra Khare, Head of Strategic Partnerships, India and SAARC, Google. He was addressing the media on the sidelines of Gods Own Conclave, a gathering of IT executives of major companies in the city on Saturday.
“Google is primarily focused on the banking financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector in Kerala, and the company is committed to supporting enterprises in their business operations,” he said. He added that the number of companies adopting Google Cloud in Kerala has increased manifold.
He also stated that Google is supporting companies in Kerala in various ways, including their efforts to improve their business operations.
“We are trying to reach every corner of the country,” he said.
The conference was organized by the Kerala CIO Association of India with the support of around 20 leading brands including iPlanet Enterprise, Apple, Jio Business, Google Cloud, Ekonz, Dell Technologies, Staron IT, Airtel, HPE and Skylark.
More than 100 CIOs and around 20 top global technology leaders from the industry attended the summit to enable IT heads of Kerala-based companies to interact with IT heads from other states and make Kerala a technology destination.
