With years of collective experience crafting immersive real-time experiences and stories, we’ve come together to create the most immersive visual and narrative experiences powered by real-time technology.

“Holocraft primarily focuses on creating real-time animated and virtual production content. We offer services such as virtual production, real-time production, motion capture, 3D content creation, previewing and consulting.

“We are a team of creative designers and developers specializing in the domain of virtual production. The company envisions a USP that easily combines physical and virtual objects using a series of software tools. Holocraft also offers motion-capture, real-time animation, camera tracking hardware and software options with green screen production. He added that he will give.

What do they do?

When applied to the media and entertainment industry, real-time software allows writers, production teams, artists, directors and film crews to seamlessly focus on creation, bringing their ideas to life with greater speed, creativity and flexibility than ever before.

Real-time production is the process of producing animated content using real-time game engine technology. The process uses a virtual production pipeline to perform the traditional process of shooting, lighting, editing, etc., but in real-time in virtual environments.

Real-time production also gives you more time to quickly iterate and produce content, cutting down on time compared to offline rendering.

“This helps the crew see the entire production in real-time as they are shooting. Real-time production cuts down the production time significantly compared to offline production.”

Origin and inspiration.

Jayachandran will primarily lead the company to maximize opportunities in the market through various sales and marketing channels. It develops new marketing strategies to capture new customer-driven market channels and boost the prospects of virtual production, which is still in its infancy in India.

“I have been using Unreal game engine since 2016 to develop Arc-viz and VR applications, which bridge the gap between the digital (3D) and real world by creating virtual environments. I was still working on it when I met Sreejith Srinivas and discussed his idea to further explore the field,” he recalls.

Advances in GPU technology fueled the Unreal Engine’s ability to create photo-realistic content, and virtual production finally became a reality for both in 2019. In May 2019, they finally quit their jobs to co-found Holocraft.

Epic Games’ Unreal Engine is a collection of high-quality development tools for anyone looking to use real-time technology solutions across mobile, PC, console, AR and VR platforms. Creators can use this technology in game design, immersive cinematic experiences, photorealism, interactive product design, film, virtual production, mixed reality TV broadcasting, animation entertainment needs and as a powerful and smooth game engine.

Development history

Since its inception, Holocraft has pulled off 15+ successful projects with 10+ clients, boasting a bandwidth of 35+ employees. They are currently working on a real-time animated film that is expected to be completed by December 2023.

“At Holocraft, we believe the future is where real-time technology meets creative storytelling. Through years of collective experience creating immersive real-time experiences and storytelling, we’ve come together to create the most immersive visual and narrative experiences powered by real-time technology,” says Jayachandran.

We want to expand Holocraft as much as possible

The startup is working on a music video and an animated documentary in parallel, which will be released in June/July this year. Addtheir real-time animated content, a short made entirely in the Unreal Engine, won the first runner-up title in the Unreal Shorts India Program.

They have also created projects like Logan, a real-time animation production, Neston an LED in camera VFX and Radhe Shyam, a green screen project.
