National charity offering free tech training to underrepresented minorities, announces 2022 enrollment.


Seattle, September 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ – National non-profit Reskill Americans We are excited to announce open enrollment for our tuition-free software development training program. October 3, 2022. The seven-month online training is available to anyone who identifies as a racial minority, no experience necessary. with STEM skills are in high demandReskill Americans aims to reduce barriers to access for people of color and address the need to access and train talent, regardless of background.

Founded by tech veterans, Reskill Americans launched its inaugural program in 2021 with more than 2,000 participants from 42 states, and graduates are employed by businesses of all sizes.

Femi Akinde. “By removing existing barriers to technology training and offering it tuition-free, Reskill Americans is proud to help create access for as many underrepresented minorities as possible.

The program allows participants to learn from anywhere at any time; receive customized guidance and advice; and graduate with portfolio work samples. Graduates will receive a certificate of completion in web development or UX/UI design and may have the opportunity to join a nonprofit internship program.
