Fashion Design Council of Bangladesh (FDCB) vice president and renowned designer Emdad Hoque passed away in a Dhaka hospital recently.
This is according to reports, which add that he was 57 years old and was admitted to the Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in Shyamoli in the capital Dhaka after a cardiac arrest recently.
Confirming the death of the eminent fashion designer, FDCB General Secretary Shaibal Saha reportedly claimed that Emdad has been suffering from kidney complications, asthma and other problems, though he reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest recently and was was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on November 2, where he was put on life support for the last two days.
Shaibal further added, Emdad was ready to fly to Kolkata (India) for better treatment but unfortunately he suffered a second heart attack a few days ago and had to be put on life support and eventually died.
