In the season finale on Sunday The Real Housewives of AtlantaShereé Whitfield (finally … and successfully!) hosted the She by Shereé fashion show 14 years after her disastrous first attempt — but not without a few bumps in the road, including an unexpected visit from an ex-boyfriend .
“At this point, I’ve done everything I can do,” Whitfield, 52, told the cameras during a deposition. “The place is reserved, but the clothes, that’s another story.”
Whitfield, then, discovered that it was having problems with the production of its parts.
“I gave some work to a production house in New York, and she promised to have everything in time, but right now, she has nothing for me,” she said. “I don’t know what I’m getting, how many parts I’m getting and I’m frustrated.”
“I’m seeing red,” she continued. “I’m starting to have flashbacks, PTSD from the no-fashion fashion show 14 years ago. I’m still embarrassed. I can’t, I won’t let it happen again.”
IN RHOWhitfield’s first season In 2008, Whitfield’s first attempt at putting on a fashion show didn’t go exactly as planned – as she had no samples to show her guests due to poor production and quality .
The night before the show, Whitfield revealed he only had five parts and was expecting 19 more. Yes, 19!
“It’s not looking so good right now,” she said. “At this point, I’m doing everything I can, the clothes are out of my hands.”

As if she wasn’t stressed enough, her ex-boyfriend Tyrone Gilliams walked in.
“I thought I was going to pull you,” he said, startling Whitfield.
“So you just go out, but when I was in your city you couldn’t go out,” Whitfield said, referring to the time she planned to meet Gilliams in Philadelphia but he never showed up.
“Not because I’m on home confinement,” said Gilliams, who was recently released from prison. “It doesn’t work like that.”
“Why don’t you tell me that,” she asked. “I’m in Philly all the time. We go to restaurants. What are you talking about?
“We’re not going there to make it public,” he said. “You’re not saying you’re stalking.”
“Why are you here today?” said an angry Whitfield. “No remorse, no apology or nothing?”
“Why would I apologize for something you did to help me go back to jail?” he asked. “That’s not going to happen.”
“I was f—ed,” she replied. “I don’t want you here. You can’t tell me you won’t apologize like you didn’t do anything wrong.”
“I certainly don’t owe you an apology,” he said before walking out.
On the morning of the fashion show, Whitfield revealed that she had finally received 24 looks – plus a few extras.
And while Gilliams showed up with flowers, Whitfield wanted nothing to do with it.

“It’s a wrap on Bae Jail,” said Whitfield, who is currently dating Love and Marriage Huntsville star Martell Holt. “It feels so good, you just don’t know. I can’t even believe I put up with this.”
At the end of the day, Whitfield put on the show of a lifetime — and her co-stars couldn’t be prouder of her.

“She left, she pulled over and she did it,” Kandi Burruss, 46, said. “I am very proud of him.”
“After 14 years, I did it,” Whitfield said to the cameras. “I’ve had a lot of ups and downs. I’ve had a lot of failures. I want everyone who feels like they can’t do it to keep pushing through prayer, determination, hard work. It will definitely pay off.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta The season 14 reunion begins on Sunday, September 11.
