If he feels he has enough quality players in the defensive position and there:
“Well, you never have enough. It doesn’t matter if it’s tackles or ends because it’s the most physically demanding position in all sports, and certainly in football, especially in the game. 600 pounds is put on you. Play. It takes a toll on your body right now.” , we’re trying to create that depth. I’m really excited about the top three we’ve got. [Josh] Leakage, Mario [Kendricks] And Norell [Pollard]. Those guys are playing at a high level. I think we can win a championship with those guys. The rest must come along.

“It started in our (layout) room. When [Amaré] Barno Left and of course Norell did last year, just no one noticed. Norrell has played a lot of football and has been here a long time. The reason I love him is because he always says ‘look at me’. look at me.’ Therefore, sometimes his leadership goes unnoticed. People are finally noticing and that’s a great thing.”

When the captain is revealed:
“When your peers choose you as captain, it means a lot. It means I’m doing something. It means they see me as someone they can follow and that means a lot to me. It’s what I wanted. It’s been my fourth year since I got here. How to work And to say that I’m held up as an example to other people of how to run your business means a lot to the people who see in me.
It’s on Mario Kendricks, Josh Fuga And he himself has plenty of experience and the dividends he pays are:
“It’s a big advantage Sprout [Foster] They always told us that you can’t train experience. So it’s just a matter of finding those people and trusting those people. So, if I can’t make a game, I know they’ll make a game. I don’t have to be on the field, they can be on the field and vice versa. We all trust each other and know that the three of us can go out there and get the job done. It’s a great thing to be in that room.”

During his time at the lake with his teammates on Thursday and the surprise announcement:
“It was great to see the boys having a good time. It was good to go away for a while and relax and focus on today. Then we were shocked. We went crazy. You all probably saw it on social media. It was great.”
On the best since spring:
“I’d probably say my hang time. What went into it was being in the weight room and doing explosives. The weight room staff did a great job. So, a lot of weight room for my hang time and then I’m improving my technique by working on the little things to get better.”
