TopBrand Global 500 revealed: Tech dominates brand rankings, 19 French companies selected

Beijing–(Business Wire— From August 7 to 9, 16^Th The annual China Brand Festival was held in Changsha, a city that has grown in popularity as a home for Chinese vloggers over the past few years. According to the ranking, the world’s most valuable brand is Apple, which is estimated to be worth $799.81 billion. Next, three other American technology giants, namely Microsoft, Google, and Amazon, have a brand value of $667.43 billion, $405.53 billion, and $402.54 billion. The top five is Saudi Aramco, whose brand is worth $377.34 billion.

Examining the rest of the rankings, the technology sector dominates as its representatives have an estimated market capitalization of $61.13 trillion. In an ever-growing economy, technology companies have attracted the attention of the world. The pharmaceutical sector is ranked second, with its top brands worth a total of $18.18 trillion. The oil and gas sector ranks third in the TopBrand Global 500 with revenues valued at $17.14 trillion.

In terms of national representation, 210 brands are from the USA, with a total value of $13 trillion. This includes 17 companies out of 30. In addition to the above-mentioned tech giants, other notable entries are Meta, Tesla, United Health and Johnson & Johnson in the 6th place.^Th7^Th8^Th and 10^Th place, respectively.

The only Chinese brand in the top 10 is China National Petroleum Corporation, which ranks 9.^Th Place worth $280.28 billion. The top 20 includes Sinopec, State Grid and Huawei ranked 11th^Th14^Th and 18^Th, respectively. There are 42 Japanese brands that make it into the popular brand rankings. The research process that led to the compilation of the rankings took more than a year. The TopBrand Union team analyzed a sample of 37,164 companies covering 47 major stock markets.
