Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s marriage has been one of the strongest in Bollywood. The two, who married each other in 1973 will celebrate the Golden Jubilee of their union next year. Recently, in an interaction with contestant Priyanka Maharshi, the veteran actor revealed the reason he fell in love with Jaya and eventually married her. He said “Apni patni se humne biyaha ek iss wajah se kiya tha ki unke kes bohot lambe the” (I married my wife because he had lomg hair).

On the workfront, Amitabh Bachchan’s latest outing “Uunchai” has been earning rave reviews. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film also stars Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, along with Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta and Sarika.
