Evers, an energy-focused software-as-a-service product company, has announced the acquisition of RatedPower, a Spanish startup that helps plan, design and optimize solar power plants. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Enverus works with all types of clients in the energy ecosystem with a focus on renewables and oil and gas. In particular, the company works with 98% of US energy producers and 35,000 suppliers to provide real-time analytics. With these insights, labor-intensive companies can easily measure costs and revenues before committing to a new project.
Clients include energy, utility and infrastructure companies, but also financial institutions working on energy projects. You can use Enverse to allocate capital based on production and distribution optimization.
With RatedPower, Inverse doubles down on renewable energy development as RatedPower focuses exclusively on utility-scale solar photovoltaic plants.

Engineers use RatedPower’s software platform — pvDesign — to study, analyze and design new projects for photovoltaic plants. In total, RatedPower has been used to develop more than 43 GW of solar power projects in 20,000 projects in 160 countries.
For example, RatedPower scans many different layout configurations and can tell you which one will maximize the profitability and cost of this solar plant project based on topography, meteorological data, horizon profile, etc.
