“Let’s begin with news on Amitabh Bachchan, who took to Twitter to announce that he has tested positive for Covid-19. The actor also urged everyone who came in contact with him to get tested for coronavirus.

It is pertinent to note that this is the second time that Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for Covid-19. Amitabh had previously contracted coronavirus in July 2020 along with son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaraadhya Bachchan.

Amitabh is currently seen on Sony TV’s quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 14.”
“Comedian Munawar Faruqui rose to national fame after his participation in Lock Upp, which he eventually also managed to win. While he takes on his audience, politicians and even celebrities on stage during his act, he has revealed that he’ll never make fun of Shah Rukh Khan. In a recent interview, he spoke about his love for the Bollywood star and how he’ll never joke about him.
In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, the stand-up comedian said, “He is such a sharp and witty man. Even after so much name and fame, he has a very distinct attraction. You cannot help but admire him”

“The song “Chaiyya Chaiyya” from Mani Ratnam’s film Dil Se is one of the most iconic Bollywood numbers. Though Shah Rukh Khan has given several memorable songs, watching him dance energetically on the train top with Malaika Arora in “Chaiyaa Chaiyya” will always stay special. But, shooting the song on top of a moving train was not easy for choreographer Farah Khan.

Farah also shared how Shah Rukh was excited to shoot “Chaiyya Chaiyya” on the top of a train and wanted to even climb on the train’s chimney.

The song Chhaiyya Chhaiyya was composed by AR Rahman.

“Meanwhile,

Actor Karisma Kapoor took to Instagram and shared a photo with Salman Khan from their film Jeet, which clocked 26 years of its release today. The two of them are standing against the backdrop of mountains and a lake, which Karisma tagged as Lake Geneva in Wisconsin. In her post, she also mentioned that it was their first outdoor shoot.

Karisma captioned her post, “When we were dreamers. Our first foreign outdoor #Jeet #26yearsofJeet.”

Jeet had a star-studded cast which included Sunny Deol, Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Amrish Puri, Tabu, Alok Nath, Dalip Tahil and Johnny Lever. Directed by Raj Kanwar, the romantic thriller emerged as the fourth highest-grossing Bollywood film of 1996.”
“Nawazuddin Siddiqui, throughout his career, has shocked audiences with the choice of his roles. Now, the motion poster of his upcoming film Haddi has left fans intrigued. The video opens in a warehouse with the title credits showing on the screen. The camera then pans to give a glimpse of Nawazuddin dressed as a femme fatale, sitting in a powerful stance on a sofa. An iron rod with blood stains is also placed near him.

Dressed in a silver shimmery dress with hair cut short, Nawaz looks unrecognisable in the poster. The video also mentions that his character would be called ‘Haddi’ in the film. As per the official description of the film, Haddi is a ‘noir revenge drama’. ”
“Actor Dia Mirza welcomed her son Avyaan Azaad in May 2021 and the months that followed were some of the toughest times for the new mother. In a recent interview, Dia said that her baby was born prematurely and the situation was “life-threatening” for both mother and child.

Dia said that during the fifth month of her pregnancy, she had to undergo appendix surgery which probably led to some “bacterial infection” in her body. “My placenta was haemorrhaging and the doctor said I have to pull your baby out otherwise I would have gone into sepsis. It was life-threatening for both of us and within 36 hours of birth, the baby had to go through surgery,””
“””Actor Manoj Bajpayee believes that Bollywood’s current slump is just a ‘bad phase’ and that the film industry will recover soon. In the past year, only a few films have emerged as successes.

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Bajpayee said, “Sometimes, we make too much out of a bad phase. Cinema cannot die. Hindi cinema will not die. It will course-correct and come back to its normal self. The pre-pandemic phase won’t be there. Some new exciting phases of Hindi cinema will be there.” Asked if Bollywood is lacking anything, he answered, “No, we don’t lack anything. We have been entertaining for so many decades. Just course correction is needed. People are intelligent enough. Some new directions and fine actors are coming.””””
“And lastly,

Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha might have flopped domestically, but the film has broken a significant record at the worldwide box office. According to Bollywood Hungama, the Forrest Gump remake is now the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022 in international markets, having overtaken hits such as Gangubai Kathiawadi, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and The Kashmir Files.

With $7.5 million (Rs 59 crore) in over a week of release, Laal Singh Chaddha has managed to surpass Gangubai Kathiawadi ($7.47 million), Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 ($5.88 million), and The Kashmir Files ($5.7 million). By comparison, each of those three movies was also a major hit in India. SS Rajamouli’s Telugu hit ‘RRR’, however, made nearly $20 million from international markets.”
