“Let us begin this bulletin with some news on the film Vikram Vedha.

Actors Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan are gearing up for the release of their upcoming Hindi film Vikram Vedha. Hrithik took to his social media on Wednesday to release the latest poster of the movie, which gives a peek at the face-off between Saif’s Vikram and Hrithik’s Vedha. A silhouette of Ravan is seen in the middle, separating the two actors.

The team of Vikram Vedha hosted a trailer preview for fans on Wednesday, which saw Saif Ali Khan and producer Bhushan Kumar in attendance.”
“Pankaj Tripathi has opened up on the recent boycott trend, which some say is responsible for the dent in film collections of Bollywood movies.

In a conversation with Siddharth Kanan, Pankaj said, “Self-assessment is needed about what we are making and how we are making it—that’s necessary and that’s what is lacking. If a film is bad, it doesn’t work and doesn’t get boycotted. People don’t go to the cinema halls. That’s also a boycott then, isn’t it?”””
“Meanwhile,

All eyes are on Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy drama Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. There’s much hope pinned on the film as Bollywood has witnessed several big-budget disasters in the past few months, including Ranbir’s Shamshera. At a recent promotional event in Delhi, Ranbir opened up about the film’s failure.

Ranbir said, “If Shamshera didn’t run at the box office it means the audience didn’t like the film. The film didn’t work because the content wasn’t good.” Shamshera focused on a slave who becomes a leader in the fictional city of Kaza in the 1800s. Ranbir played the protagonist, who goes up against Sanjay Dutt’s merciless and cruel Shuddh Singh, an authoritarian general.”
“Actor Janhvi Kapoor is currently busy with the prep for her upcoming film Mr and Mrs Mahi. And amidst the prep, Janhvi found time to hone her dance skills.

The elder child of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor recently shared a video of herself dancing to the 1981 film Umrao Jaan’s hit track “Dil Cheez Kya Hai”, which featured evergreen star, Rekha.

Janhvi Kapoor‘s post also had other random photos and videos of herself. While we could see Janhvi at her cricket practice in some photos, she also shared some stylish photos of herself.

“Actor Shahid Kapoor took to Instagram and penned an emotional post for his wife, celebrity influencer Mira Rajput on her birthday. He shared a photo of the two of them dancing, where she is dressed in a yellow kurta. Shahid and Mira tied the knot in 2015 and are parents to two children, Misha and Zain.

Shahid wrote, “Happy birthday my lover. May we dance through life’s ups and downs together. Hand in hand with a smile on the face and a twinkle in the eyes.

Raashii Khanna commented, “Cutest,” while Malaika Arora wrote, “Happy birthday, dear Mira.”

“Moving on,

Anushka Sharma, on Wednesday, took to social media to reveal a new still from her upcoming film, Chakda Xpress. A biopic of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami, this is Anushka’s first project as an actor after the 2018 debacle, Zero.

Anushka shared a still from the film on Instagram and wrote, “A moment from a story that needs to be told!” In the picture, Anushka has recreated a moment from Jhulan’s life, where she is seen making a phone call while standing at a phone booth as it rains.

Anushka has been shooting for the Prosit Roy directorial, and will soon start another schedule for the film. The film marks Anushka’s return to the movies after a gap of three years. ”
“Kartik Aaryan on Monday announced that he’ll be starring in Aashiqui 3, the third instalment of Aashiqui which starred Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal. The franchise was revived in 2013 with Aashiqui 2, directed by Mohit Suri and starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, which was a box office success.

Soon after Aashiqui 3 was announced, rumours began that television actor Jennifer Winget is likely to star opposite Kartik in the Anurag Basu directorial. However, the makers of the film, T-Series, on Wednesday, issued an official statement stating that they’ve not finalised the film’s female lead yet.

Directed by Anurag Basu, Aashiqui 3 will also have music by Pritam Chakraborty.”
“Lastly,

The trailer and music launch event of Mani Ratnam’s ambitious historical drama Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 was a huge success in Chennai on Tuesday. The chief guests for the evening were none other than Tamil superstars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. The film’s cast including Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Sobhita Dhulipala and the film’s director Mani Ratnam were present at the event too.

Aishwarya Rai was elated to reunite with her Jailer and Robot co-star Rajinikanth and was seen touching his feet. The gesture impressed netizens as many appreciated her for ’embracing Indian culture’ and ‘respect for elders.

Ponniyin Selvan- Part 1 is scheduled to release in theatres on September 30 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.”
