The Late Singer Once Revealed His Wife Told Him Not To Sing At Home; She Said, ‘Please Don’t Bother Me’

Late legendary singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known by his stage name KK, is fondly remembered today on the occasion of his birth anniversary. The singer would have turned 54 today if alive. KK passed away on May 31 this year due to a heart attack while performing at a live concert in Kolkata. He suddenly collapsed and fell unconscious after his gig. Today, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, we stumbled upon a throwback interview of him wherein he revealed that his wife requested him not to sing at home after their marriage.

Shocked right? Back in 2017, KK himself made this surprising revelation during his interview with Aaj Tak. The late singer revealed that his wife Jyothy Lakshmi Krishna asked him not to sing at home because he used to practice songs all day long whenever he was at home. Back then, KK had said, “The sad part is, I sing songs at home all day and she tells me ‘please yaar don’t bother me now’. It happens very often. And I tell her ‘don’t you know how many people wait for me to sing outside? Girls even try holding me when I go for the shows.’ I lie to her. That does not happen too often. She’s like ‘Please do not bug me’. Though, there are times when she loves it…she is sitting and I sing for her.” ALSO READ: KK Sudden Death: The Late Singer Could Have Been Saved If CPR Was Given On Time, Reveals A Doctor Who Conducted His Autopsy
